**Procedure - Gutter Cleaning**
- Inspect jobsite for problem areas and hazards
- Take “before”’picture
- Blow off roof especially valleys (if safe to walk)
- Remove debris from gutter. If dry use leaf blower. If wet, scoop and bag. Dump into green waste bin.
- Flush gutters with water. Be careful not to get windows wet. Check for leaks, or areas where water doesn’t flow well.
- If any downspouts are clogged unclog them. If clogged below ground level notify client of the problem.
- Clean the ground thoroughly. MOST CALLBACKS are from the ground being dirty not the gutters! Leafblow and disperse leafs to avoid large clumps. Rinse off walkways with hose when necessary. Rinse tops of waste bins. Towel dry any windows that got wet during cleaning. If anything was moved put client’s things back nice, neat and cleaned up.
- Take “after” picture.
- Check out with client. Show before and after pictures. Notify of any problems (gutter repair or plumbing/drainage issues) refer company if applicable (see referral list) Attach before and after pictures to work order in SM
